“Furiosa: a Mad Max Saga” Plotṣ
After May 2020 Millor planned to make a prequel to Furious film and he started the process of casting for the role. Miller sought to cast a younger actress for the role of Theron. This movie occurs across a timeframe of 15 years. World-weary young Furiosa is plucked from the green spaces of many mothers and given to a biker gang led by Warlord Dementus.
While the two dictators battle for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials as she makes her way back home through the wasteland. which depicts Furious’s backstory how she is displaced from her home and how spends her life trying to come back home.
Anya Taylor-Joy shared her reaction to reading the moment in the script.
“It made sense to me because I think what’s incredible about this character is she just refuses to die she refuses,” she said. “It made sense to me that she would lose her arm in the pursuit of something that she thought was bigger than herself. That made a lot of sense to me.”
Miller said that
“In the case of Fury Road, I thought, ‘What if the MacGuffin, the thing everyone is chasing, were human?’ And that led to the wives being stolen from the warlord. And it couldn’t be a man taking the wives because that would be a different story. It would have to be a woman.” And so Furiosa was born.

It was confirmed in a May 2022 interview with Miller after getting different dates reported for the start of filming that second unit filming was underway in Australia in advance of principal photography. The movie was awarded an AU$175 million filming incentive and spent a total of US$233 million in Australia which was the most ever for a movie production in the country.
Hemsworth said that Miller had hired convicts as supporting artists. Principal Photography was started on 1 June 2022 in Australia and was expected to be wrapped by September but filming officially wrapped by Oct.2022. After being shown at the Comic-con experience in Sao Paulo the previous day. On 1 Dec. 2023, the first trailer was released online.
In March 2024, it was revealed that Lachie Hulme would be playing the role of a young Immortan in the film. Hugh Keyes took this role from Byrne after playing the role in the Mad Max Fury Road film in 2020.
